About The Author

Michael Goetz

He has degree in economics, but considers the years he spent as a control tower operator and service advisor at a Cadillac Chevrolet dealership as the more valuable education. He has had lengthy stints at the editorial helm of three publications — Canadian Automotive Fleet, Canadian Auto World, and World of Wheels. He is a currently a full-time, freelance auto journalist, writing on a broad number of subjects. He likes vintage motorcycle and sports cars, but the two he owns — a 1972 Honda 350 Four and a 1967 Jaguar E-type Coupe — are hard on him, and cost him a lot of capital, emotional and otherwise.
