Shelby American Inc. was founded in 1962 by Carroll Shelby. The company initially built a high-performance Ford Mustang variant between 1965 to 1970. Since 2005, the Shelby nameplate has been used by Ford. If you’re in the market for a performance Mustang, Shelby is the first name that should come to mind. Today, Shelby American markets Mustang, F-150, Cobra and Ford Raptor variants to Canadian buyers.
