Aston Martin is creating a very limited edition Vanquish, drawing inspiration from the Royal Air Force’s aerobatic squadron The Red Arrows.

Aston Martin’s bespoke personalisation and customisation service, Q by Aston Martin, will make just 10 versions of the Vanquish S Red Arrows edition, all with special design features, graphic elements and hand-crafted interior that draw on the visuals of aviation.
The cars will be cloaked in Eclat Red, mirroring the livery of the BAE Systems Hawks used by the Red Arrows, with the designation Eclat being the French word (meaning brilliance or excellence) used as the motto of the 9-plane aerobatics team.
Visually, the car features blue and white carbon fibre trim pieces, white side moulding to mimic white contrails, carbon fibre roof with the “charge” pattern from the jet canopies, Union Jack enamel front wing badges, titanium exhaust tips, and a Union Jack themed wing emblem on the hood.

Inside, the 2-seater’s seat inserts are Pinewood green to mimic the colour of flight suits, and feature the Red Arrows emblem of nine jets in a diamond formation. There are the customary engine and sill plaques numbered 1 through 10 and signed by the corresponding numbered jet’s pilot (1 through 9, since the 10th car is being gifted to the RAF for its benevolent fund). The iconic “Vixen Break” formation is embroidered behind the seats and on the door panels. The parcel shelfs behind the seats can hold a pair of helmets (of course, done up in Red Arrows livery).
Among the bespoke accessories available to the Vanquish S Red Arrows owner are racing helmets, racing suits, embroidered bomber jackets, Vanquish S luggage set, die-cast 1:18 models of the car and the Hawk aircraft, car cover and Build Book.
