Autofile is pleased to announce the addition of Lesley Wimbush to our roster of award-winning contributors.
Lesley has been a car nut since that fateful day when, helping her big brother clean parts from his disassembled Camaro RS, she dropped a carburetor on her foot, breaking several bones. This earned her a certain cachet amongst the boys in her fifth-grade class, most of whom had no idea what a carburetor really was.
An award-winning auto writer whose work has appeared regularly in the Toronto Star, the Toronto Sun and Auto123, Lesley is also a well-known motorsports illustrator who can often be found trackside looking for inspiration.
She writes about all aspects of the automotive world with a keen insight and her own distinct perspective, as evidenced by today's article on a 1931 Marmon found in unfamiliar surroundings.
Welcome to the team, Lesley. We're proud to have you on board.
