Bentley is celebrating its centenary with a limited-edition modern interpretation of the legendary 1929 No. 1 Bentley Blower.
Limited to just 100 models, each Continental GT Convertible Number 1 Edition by Mulliner is based on the 6.0-litre twin-turbo W-12 Continental GT Convertible and will be specked out with bespoke 18 carat gold-plated fender badging, painted Number 1 grille and a small wheel spinner (reminiscent of those in the original and other historic Bentleys) cast from a piston from the original No. 1, set in the rotating display. Jewelled filler and oil caps are also part of the presentation.
Available in Dragon Red II or Beluga (with either Claret or Beluga folding top, and Cricket Ball or Gloss Black wheels) will be the final piece of Bentley’s Centenary limited-edition trilogy (along with the Mulsanne W.O. Edition and the Continental GT Number 9 Edition). The specs also include Black Line appointments and Carbon Body Kit, as well as the Centenary Specification Pack that includes Centenary LED puddle lamps and welcome laps, and centenary badges on the trunk lid, 22-inch MDS wheel centres, shift lever, steering wheel and key fob.
The interior comes in Cricket Ball or Beluga leather, with Heritage hide on the seats and door panels (the B insignia is embossed on the head rests and door panels), Alcantara steering wheel and shift knob, and Number 1 door sill plate. Grand Black wood veneer with 18-carat gold prated trim adds a premium touch to the journey,
