Cadillac is celebrating 15 years of its V-Series with a special Pedestal Edition for its ATS coupe and CTS Sedan.
The limited-run models signal an end to the third generation of V-Series models and takes the ultra-high-performance sub-brand into a new series that will include a CT6-V sedan (the largest V-Series car to date and the first with all-wheel drive) with the new 550-hp Cadillac Blackwing twin turbo V-8.
A total of 300 models will be available in North America and the Middle East, though no breakdown was available between 2019 Pedestal Edition ATS-V Coupe and CTS-V Sedan. Ordering begins in November, with production beginning toward the end of the month
First and foremost is the application of an all-new exterior colour — Bronze Sand Metallic — accented with Black Chrome trim and grille surround. The special edition also includes V-Series forged light alloy After Midnight wheels (18-inch on the ATS; 19-inch on the CTS) showing red Brembo brake calipers.
The interior features Recaro race-inspired semi-aniline leather sport seats in Jet Black, inset with Light Wheat micro-suede, carbon-fibre trim with bronze threading, the latest generation of the Cadillac User Experience, and the fully-integrated Performance Data Recorder video data system with Cosworth Toolbox driver analysis software.
Other model-specific content for the CTS-V sedan includes a carbon fibre front splitter, hood vent, rear spoiler and diffuser for the CTS (they’re already part of the ATS-V coupe), rear-camera mirror, heated rear outboard seats, power rear window sunshade, manual rear side-window sunshades, among others.
