Chrysler makes 2018 Pacifica look sportier

S Appearance Package adds all black interior and exterior to new minivan

Chrysler Pacifica with S Appearance Package

Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) is making a sportier minivan, or at least attempting to make a minivan sportier, with the introduction of the S Appearance Package to the Chrysler Pacifica.

“The Chrysler Pacifica definitely stands out in the school drop-off line, and its class-leading style has won over many new customers,” said Tim Kuniskis, Head of Passenger Car Brands for FCA North America. “The Pacifica’s S Appearance Package takes that style to the next level and offers our customers yet another unique personality that further differentiates Pacifica from the rest of the segment.”

Available on 2018 Touring Plus, Touring L, Touring L Plus and Limited models, the package adds Gloss Black accents on grille, mouldings and headlights, 18-inch wheels with Black Noise finish (optional 20-inchers), Black Noise Chrysler badges with Gloss Black inserts, and Black Noise Pacifica and S badges on the hatch door. It’s topped off with a black roof rack (optional on Touring Plus).

The all-black interior features black seats with Light Diesel Grey accents and the S logo, a steering whel with Piano Black accents and Light Diesel Grey stitching, and Anodized Ice Cave bezels on the instrument panel and door trim.

For 2018, Pacifica also gets new standard equipment, including upgraded Uconnect 4 systems with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and available 4G LTE Wi-Fi.
