For 2020, Dodge Durangos will come in all sorts of stripes, as Dodge announces a full-length Satin Black stripe highlighted in Redline Red for the Dodge SRT and Midnight Grey Metallic and Gloss Black accents will be added to the Durango SRT Black.
The Dodge Durango SRT is powered by the 475-hp 6.4-litre Hemi V-8, generating 470 lb-ft of torque and making it the most powerful and most powerful American 3-row SUV, capable of accelerating to 100 km/h in about 4.5 seconds and taking the quarter mile in just under 13 seconds. It also outhauls others, with a towing capability of 3,946 kg.

As Dodge performance enthusiasts move through the Durango lineup to the fastest, most powerful and most capable American 3-row SUV, they want their vehicle to stand out in a crowd,” said Tim Kuniskis, FCA’s Global Head of Alfa Romeo and North American Head of Passenger Cars – Dodge, SRT, Chrysler and FIAT. “Last year, 25% of Durango SXT buyers chose the Blacktop Package. That jumped to more than 60% on the Durango R/T. Now, this new SRT-exclusive Black package gives SRT buyers an even more exclusive look and they can order it when they order their vehicle at the dealership.”
In addition to the Midnight Grey Metallic and Gloss Black exterior accents (grille badge, liftgate badges and 392 badge), the Dodge Durango SRT Black features Gloss Black mirror caps, 20-inch Matte Vapor wheels (Brass Monkey wheels optional at no cost), Eclipse Black Tint exhaust tips, Satin Black “D O D G E” taillamp applique and Gloss Black “4” badge with Midnight Grey Metallic Rhombi.
It is available on 10 exterior colours — Billet Silver, DB Black, Destroyer Grey, F8 Green, Granite Crystal, Octane Red, Reactor Blue, Redline, White Knuckle and Vice White. Pricing has not been confirmed for Canadian package, but the US price is $1,495.
The Redline stripe for the Durango SRT is a full-length centre stripe in Satin Black, with Redline Red tracing the edges of the stripe. It too is available on Billet Silver, DB Black, Destroyer Grey, F8 Green, Granite Crystal, Octane Red, Reactor Blue, Redline, White Knuckle and Vice White exteriors, at a price of $1,295 in the US.
Both packages open for orders in March 2020, following its public debut at the Chicago Auto Show.
