Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) is adding a new Urbana appearance package to the 2019 Fiat 500X crossover.
Based on the mid-line 500X Trekking, the Urbana edition comes in Grigio Graphite (Graphite Grey), Vibrante Green, Bianco Gelato (White Clear Coat) and Nero Cinema (Black Clear Coat). It adds black Miron (metallic iron) body accents (side mirror caps, door handles, headlamp and taillamp surrounds, hatchgate bezel, front and rear fascias and sill mouldings with copper accented 500X logo), 18-inch matte black and Miron wheels with copper centre cap and black roof rails.
Inside, there are unique seats with black Castiglio chevron-pattern fabric and embroidered copper 500 logos, black textured instrument panel also with a copper 500 logo, black painted centre console and Miron radio and vent bezels.
As with other 2019 500Xs, power is supplied by the all-new 1.3-litre MultiAir turbocharged 4-cylinder putting 170 hp and a class-best 210 lb-ft of torque to all four wheels. The all-wheel drive system (the only standard AWD system in the sub-compact crossover segment) automatically engages the rear axle for all-wheel drive only when needed.
Engine stop/start is also standard, as is a 9-speed automatic. Option packages such as an advanced driver assistance group (auto high beam headlights, blind spot monitor, rear cross path detection, adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, lane departure warning and rain sensing wipers) and comfort group (dual zone climate control, power adjustable driver’s seat, overhead ambient lighting, and auto-dimming rearview mirror) can be added on as desired.
A panorama sunroof can also be added on (combined with Beats premium audio system), as can GPS navigation and heated front seats (combined with wiper deicer).
