Finalists announced for Canadian Car and Utility of the Year

Three Germans, two Japanese, One American and one Korean make up the finalists

2015 Hyundai Genesis - AJAC Best New Luxury Car over $50K

The finalists for the 2015 AJAC (Automobile Journalists Association of Canada) Canadian Car and Utility Vehicle of the Year awards were announced today at the Montreal International Auto Show.

There are four finalists for the Canadian Car of the Year title because of a tied score among the top three. They are:

> Hyundai Genesis

> Mercedes-Benz C 300 4MATIC

> Subaru Legacy

> Volkswagen Golf

The top three finalists for Canadian Utility Vehicle of the Year:

> Ford F-150

> Porsche Macan S

> Subaru Outback

These finalists were chosen from a shortlist of 16 'Best New' category winners, chosen at AJAC's annual TestFest in October and announced in December. The overall winners will be revealed on Thursday, February 12, 2015 at the Canadian International Auto Show in Toronto.

AJAC's Canadian Car of the Year awards program is now in its 30th year. The 2014 winners were the Honda Accord and Hyundai Santa Fe.
