Dr. Tay received the award for his more than 40 years of exceptional work as a Professional Civil and Structural Engineer. "I am deeply honoured to be part of the distinguished group of individuals receiving Harry Jerome awards for 2012," said Dr. Tay. "Thank you to the BBPA for recognizing and highlighting excellence in all fields of endeavour in the Black Canadian community."

This is the third year that Chevrolet has been a platinum sponsor of the Harry Jerome Awards, presenting the Technology & Innovation Award.
