GMC is glamming up its Sierra lineup with the 2015 Sierra Carbon Edition based on the 2015 Sierra 1500 pickup. Carbon, Carbon 20 and Carbon 22 Editions will be offered.
The 22 Edition for Sierra SLE double- and crew-cab versions, gets distinctive graphics fore and aft on trunk and tailgate, a black-painted grille and body-coloured door handles and mirror caps. It also incorporates four-inch black tubular side assist steps and unique 22-inch black alloy wheels, fog lamps, remote keyless start, Universal Home Remote, 110-volt power outlet and dual-zone climate controls.
The Carbon 20, only available as a Sierra SLE double-cab, uses the same grille and graphics and gets distinct 20-inch aluminum alloy wheels.
The standard Sierra Carbon Edition takes many of the same cues and includes additional standard content such as keyless entry and LED cargo box lighting. All are available with two- or four-wheel drive and a standard 4.3-litre EcoTec3 V6; a 355-hp-producing 5.3-litre EcoTec3 V8 is an option.
US pricing starts at $33,075 for the Carbon, $38,275 for the 20 and $42,270 for the 22. Dealers are acceptable orders for double-cab editions, with crew-cab models on offer next month.
