Hyundai has released a teaser sketch of its all-new Tucson compact CUV, which will make its global debut at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show on March 3, 2015.
"The all-new Tucson has a bold and athletic presence and a proud stance. Its design is characterised by flowing surfaces, bold proportions, sharp lines and – most important – our brand signature hexagonal grille,” said Peter Schreyer, president and chief design officer of Hyundai Motor Group.
While the sketch is clearly exaggerated, it suggests a continuation of the current Tucson's tall-body, short-greenhouse look combined with Hyundai's corporate styling transition toward a more grown-up look, more elegant and a bit less flamboyant, already apparent in the latest Sonata and Genesis models.
The Tucson is an important vehicle for Hyundai on a global basis as it is one of the few models sold world-wide under the same name.
