As snow storms pile on top of snow storms your visions of dream vehicles may be shifting from Ferraris and Lamborghinis to something like the Nissan Juke NISMO RSnow.

Nissan built the vehicle by fitting Dominator Track Systems' snow tracks in place of the Juke's wheels, making minor modifications to the front and rear fascias and reprogramming its torque-vectoring AWD system.

The result is a snow-buster that's undaunted by -35oC temperatures or 50 centimetres of powder snow and capable of running at more than 85 km/h on the frozen surface of Uddjaur Lake, near Arjeplog in Sweden – an area used by many of the world's automakers for winter testing.

Unfortunately, it's a one-off that you won't be able to buy at your local Nissan store. But it's something to dream off while you're stuck in snow-bound traffic.
