Kia has released preliminary renderings of a new urban car concept it plans to reveal at the 2013 Geneva auto show in March.
"Urban cars" seem to be the mode du jour among designers. Honda recently introduced an Urban SUV concept at the Detroit auto show and a sub-compact hatch concept at the Montreal show.
The Kia concept, to be called Provoke, appears to be targeted at the same demographic as the Urban SUV and both seem to have their sights set on the market for cars like the Nissan Juke.
Kia describes the Provoke as "provocative and racy," with what the company calls its signature tiger-nose and a huge mouth-breather-look lower valance.
While it appears to be a two-door hatchback, its lines show a definite CUV influence.
The Provoke will be revealed to the automotive media in Geneva on March 5, 2013.
