Kia teases Chicago concept - Kia teases urban off-roader concept concept for Chicago auto show

Kia says it will unveil an "advanced and capable" electric all-wheel drive (e-AWD) concept vehicle at the upcoming Chicago Auto Show.

Kia’s California design studio conceived of the off-roader as a vehicle for city dwellers seeking an escape from urbanity.

It is intended to enable a wide array of outdoor activities from skiing and snowboarding, to camping, hiking and mountain biking, the company says.

Calling it a rugged runabout, Kia says it "captures the essence of adventuring at higher elevations with the promise of surefootedness in the wild," – an enigmatic tease that leaves one wondering just what it might entail.
