Barely a week after announcing a new NX 300 Black Line Special Edition for 2020, Lexus is applying a Blackline treatment (yes, different spellings) to its IS F-Sport models.
Limited to a production run of 900, the Blackline Special Edition will be available on IS 350 F-Sport rear-wheel and all-wheel drive models for the 2020 model yeara, in addition to the IS 300 F-Sport RWD and AWD versions.
The package includes standard F-Sport wheels, finished off in black vapour chrome, black chrome grille-surround and black mirror housings. It is available with Obsidian, Ultra White or Ultrasonic Blue Mica 2.0 exterior treatment.
The interior features exclusive black and grey seats accented with Indigo Blue stitching (which is also available on the instrument panel, centre console and door trim, as well as on the leather and wooden steering wheel (heated) and shift lever boot. Technological enhancements include triple-beam LED headlamps, SmartAccess card key (a remote that fits in your wallet), navigation system and blind-spot monitor.
As with the rest of the IS line, rear drive IS 300 F-Sport models are motivated by the 241-hp 2.0-litre turbo 4-cylinder, distributing power through an 8-speed automatic. All-wheel drive IS 300 F-Sport models use a 260-hp 3.5-litre V-6 and 6-speed paddle-shift automatic, as are the RWD and AWD IS 350 F-Sport models, though their engines make 311 hp and the RWD model uses the 8-speed.
Pricing will be set with the rest of the 2020 model year lineup, which is due in dealerships in November 2019.
