Mazda announced it will debut an all-new Mazda6 wagon (Atenza in Japan) at the Paris Motor Show later this month.

Mazda will exhibit the wagon alongside the new sedan currently debuting at the Moscow Motor Show. In Paris, both models will feature Mazda's SkyActiv-D 2.2 clean diesel engine. Standard and high power versions of the diesel engine will be available; the new 6s will also be available with the SkyActiv-G 2.0 and SkyActiv-G 2.5 direct-injection gasoline engines. The models will also feature Mazda's new i-ELOOP brake energy regeneration system.

The new Mazda6 is the second of a new generation of Mazdas to feature SkyActiv technology; the first was the CX-5 SUV.

The Paris show runs from Sept. 29 to Oct. 14, 2012.
