Pfaff Automotive Partners have announced that the McLaren P1 will be offered for sale in Canada in late 2013.

The car will be available from Pfaff's Toronto store, which is the exclusive distributor for Mclaren cars in Canada and one of just 35 selected McLaren outlets worldwide.

One of the hits of the recent Paris auto show, the P1 was developed with one goal in mind: to be the best car in the world on road and track.

According to the company, the P1 was designed from the outset to prioritize aerodynamic performance. Every design detail optimizes aerodynamics, from the door shape, to the numerous ducts, to the wheel-arch shapes to the snorkel intake on the roof.

Like a Formula 1 car, it spent many hours in a wind tunnel and using computational flid dynamics modelling. Unlike most modern Formula 1 cars, it's also beautiful to look at.

"With the recent unveiling of the P1, McLaren has once again raised the bar on the supercar segment around the world," said Christopher Pfaff, president and CEO of Pfaff Automotive Partners.

"The McLaren Toronto team is eagerly awaiting the arrival of the first P1 model in Canada, with delivery beginning late 2013," he added.
