non-shopper's guide to the CIAS - Of course the show always showcases the exotics downstairs in the North Building.  You can find McLaren, Pfaff, Lamborghini, Porsche, Tesla and many other exotic brands on display here.  Of course you can't get up as close and personal with these models as you can with some of the other vehicles on display.

McLaren Toronto has been named North American Retailer of the Year for 2016, in recognition of performance in sales and overall business operations.

The Woodbridge, Ontario-based McLaren retailer is part of the well-known Pfaff Group, which also has dealerships for Audi, BMW, Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Mazda, Pagani, Porsche, Singer Vehicle Design, Toyota and Volkswagen. It also has motorcycle operation (including a Harley-Davidson retail shop), tuning and leasing shops, and a 50-year history in motorsports.

McLaren Toronto beat out 19 other locations in North America, under the Retailer of the Year program’s extensive assessment process that rated the dealer venues on sales, customer service, aftersales and marketing.

“We would like to extend our heartfelt congratulations to McLaren Toronto as they are named the North American Retailer of the Year in 2016,” said Anthony Joseph, President of McLaren North America. “The Pfaff organization has proven (itself) to be a leading retailer in every aspect including retail sales, customer service, aftersales and overall McLaren brand experience. McLaren Toronto has done a tremendous job of continuing to build McLaren brand awareness throughout the Canadian market.”

The dealership joins retailers in Glasgow, Auckland, Kuwait City and Shanghai as representatives of five global regions that will vie for Global Retailer of the Year for 2016, to be announced later in 2017.
