The collection comprises unisex bags, handbags, weekend totes and wallets with straps and handles inspired by Mini seatbelts. Men's and women's low-cut and chukka sneaks feature "cool Britannia" design details. The colour palette focuses on black, white and green. A clothing line ranging from T-shirts to parkas rounds out the ways in which you can max out your Visa card.
“In Puma we have found an ideal partner that shares our enthusiasm for a sporty, urban look and lifestyle, has a worldwide presence and, like MINI, appeals to young, open-minded target groups,” says Dr Thomas Goerdt, Director Lifestyle Collections at the BMW Group. We particularly like how he refers to his valued customers as "target groups."
In the past, Mini has formed several partnerships with lifestyle brands including the Japanese shoe maker Onitsuka Tiger and German audio specialists Sonoro, but the Puma partnership is its most comprehensive license agreement to date.
Mini by Puma will be available come September in select Mini dealerships and Puma retailers.
