Porsche Cars Canada has announced a leadership change, effective September 1, 2013. Alexander Pollich will become the company's new president and CEO, succeeding Joe Lawrence who will become executive vice-president and COO at Porsche Cars North America.
He joined Porsche AG in 2001 as head of the strategy projects department, after holding positions at. He began his career at Mercedes-Benz and at the Boston Consulting Group, in Germany and in Australia.
Pollich holds a Business and Economics Management degree from the University of Hohenheim, Germany, and a BA in Business Management from the Berufsakademie Stuttgart.
Porsche Cars Canada was formed as an independent Porsche subsidiary in April 2008 and is currently enjoying record sales, with more than 3000 vehicles sold in the last calendar year.
