Nissan introduced its first-generation Rogue compact CUV at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit in 2007 and it went on sale in Canada that fall, as a 2008 model.
At that time, the Rogue replaced the X-Trail on the Canadian market.
Six years is about the maximum shelf life between major redesigns these days, so the Rogue is now due for an overhaul. And it's scheduled to get one for the 2014 model year.
An all-new 2014 Rogue will be unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show on September 10. Nissan has been quiet on details about the new Rogue, except to say that its bold new appearance will push the envelope of CUV design.
The accompanying teaser photo doesn't tell us much so we'll just have to wait until September 10 to fill in the blanks.
