Ram is celebrating the coming of winter with a North Edition of the 2019 Ram 1500, with features ready to tackle what winter brings and keep the pickup’s occupants warm and cozy.
“The Ram 1500 North is more than a great-looking pickup; it offers cold-weather content for truck owners who require a no-compromise 4x4 as part of their daily regimen,” said Reid Bigland, Head of Ram Brand at Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA). “A factory lift, locking rear axle and all-weather tires deliver confidence when your path is anything but clear.”
Riding 25.4 mm higher than the standard Ram Big Horn, the specially equipped 2019 Ram 1500 North Edition features, among other items, a 4x4 transfer case with High, Low and Auto 4-wheel-drive settings, and electric-locking rear axle, engine block heater, tow hooks, and severe snow service-rated on/off-road Falken LT tires.
Inside, owners will find heated seats and steering wheel, Uconnect 8.4-inch touchscreen with SiriusXM Travel Link Weather and all-weather floor mats from Mopar. Convenience features include remote start, heated folding outside mirrors, front and rear parking assist sensors, and 12 power driver seat with 4-way lumbar support.
Available on Ram 1500 Crew Cab 4x4, with either the short or long bed, the package comes with monochromatic exterior presentation, and either the eTorque 3.6-litre Pentastar V-6 or the 5.7-litre Hemi V-8.
