Canadian tennis star Milos Raonic has been name the latest Jaguar Global Brand Ambassador.
In addition to working on special projects to support Jaguar’s commitment to tennis (most notably in Canada, Australia, France and the US), the 26-year old Raonic will debut the Jaguar logo on his playing kit at the Wimbledon Championships (for which the F-Pace is the Official Car), and he gets the use of an F-Pace.
“We are absolutely thrilled that Milos Raonic has come on board as a Global Brand Ambassador for Jaguar,” said Mark Cameron, Jaguar Land Rover Global Experiential Marketing Director. “Milos is a young and exciting talent in world tennis and we have no doubt he will go on to great things in the coming years. We are also excited to see Milos unveil the Jaguar patch on his playing kit next week.”
The world’s number-7 ranked tennis player (in the Association of Tennis Professionals rankings) joins Brit Andy Murray (ATP’s number 1) and Japan’s Kei Nishikori (9).
Raonic is looking forward to returning to Wimbledon following last year’s success, which saw the strong-serving star losing out to Murray in the final, following a hard-fought victory over the legendary Roger Federer in the semis.
“Jaguar is a global brand that I really admire and I am delighted to be joining them to work together throughout Wimbledon and beyond,” said Raonic. “Having their support going into The Championships next week is going to be fantastic. Wimbledon is one of the toughest tournaments on the circuit.”
Jaguar is entering its third year as the Official Car of The Championships, Wimbledon, which runs from July 3 to July 16, 2017. Jaguar will supply 170 vehicles for use at The Championships, expecting them to complete more than 30,000 journeys during the 2-week tournament.
