The sleek new Corolla sedan and hatchback get the Nightshade treatment for 2020, joining four other vehicles in the lineup already available in Nightshade Editions— 4Runner, Highlander and Sienna (the US also gets a Nightshade Camry).
Starting this fall, Corolla sedans and hatchbacks will get the package added to the SE trim level ordered with the continuously variable automatic. The Corolla Nightshade will feature blacked out Toyota badges, Corolla nameplates and SE script badging.
Available in Super White, Classic Silver Metallic and Black Sand Pearl (Midnight Black Metallic on the hatchback), it will feature black grille and headlight surrounds and black painted rocker panels, side mirror caps, window trim and door handles, as well as blacked-out 18-inch alloy wheels, black roof-mounted shark-fin antenna and black spoiler and rear diffuser.
The interior is clad in black fabric. The SE trim level gets a space upgrade for 2020, losing the spare tire in favour of a tire-repair kit and lowering the cargo floor as a result.
