One by one, Toyota is adding hybrid models to each of its vehicle lines. The latest to get electrified is the RAV4 CUV.
The RAV4 Hybrid will make its global debut on April 1 at the 2015 New York International Auto Show.
In addition to a hybrid powertrain, it will introduce some styling updates that will be adopted also by the non-hybrid 2016 RAV4s.
The RAV4 is built at Toyota Motor Manufacturing Canada (TMMC) in Woodstock, Ontario. TMMC previously built a small number of all-electric RAV4 EVs for the US market only.
