Hyundai will bring a Veloster tuned by Fox Marketing and boasting a nifty 370 hp to SEMA next month. The stock Veloster's 1.6-litre four develops a respectable 201, but Fox added a new turbocharger, front-mount intercooler, water/methanol injection system, high-flow exhaust and an ECU return. It runs on 101-octane performance fuel. It has also been upgraded with a fully adjustable coil-over suspension, strut brace and sway bars, new brakes with six-piston front calipers with carbon fibre ducting and 13.6-inch wavy-cut rotors; four-piston calibers are on the rear. Exterior mods and racing seats with four-point harnesses and custom steel bases round out the mods.

Hyundai is also bringing an EGR Group Veloster Turbo, a Bisimoto Genesis Coupe and a JP Edition Genesis Coupe.

Ford is bringing a mind-blowing 57 custom-tuned cars, trucks and vans to SEMA this year. Yup, 57. Cars include a Fiesta, a Fiesta ST hatch, and three 'Stangs tuned by the likes of Tanner Foust, Nitto Tire, 3dCarbon and Ice Nine Group. A Hollywood Hot Rods Mustang convertible with a removable aluminum top houses a methanol-injected 750-hp 5.0-litre V8. They'll also bring variations on their Transit Connect, F150, and Super Duty pickups, including 10 customized Transit Connect Wagons and cargo vans dubbed Vandemonium. Gene Simmons and wife Shannon Tweed will unveil a 1956 F100 hot rod on the Ford stand at Nov. 5 at 1 p.m.

Lexus has on tap a 2014 IS, the result of a DeviantART (an online community) won by Rob Evans, which the company then built for display. Evans' design will be built by VIP Auto Salon.

Chrysler is bringing 20 cars modified vehicles from their six brands, including a Jeep Cherokee, Ram 1500, Fiat 500L and Chrysler 300 concepts. They'll also show off a line of Jeep Performance Parts offered by the all-new Mopar Off-Road Division. Mopar has been responsible for a number of industry-firsts in its 75 years, including vehicle-information apps, electronic owners' manuals, in-vehicle wireless hot spots, wireless charging, and electronic vehicle tracking systems.
