If it weren't for the Covid 19 pandemic, the 2020 Cobble Beach Concours d'Elegance would have been held this weekend. But it's not. So, to help satisfy your need for a Classic Car fix, here's a look back at some of the spectacular entries in last year's event.

That range of interest included this 1910 Ford Model T (foreground) and 1947 Mercury 79M Station Wagon, which took part in the Participants Tour the day before the main Concours.

Not just "trailer queens," many of the entries in the Concours took part in the participants Tour through the surrounding countryside the day before the event.

While Concours day began with rain, forcing some delicately restored Classics like this 1929 Packard under cover, it soon stopped, creating ideal conditions for all who attended.

There was a special display-only class for GM's Corvair concept cars from the 1960s - the 1963 Super Spyder (foreground), 1963 Monza SS (middle) and 1962 Monza GT (rear).

1917 Locomobile 48 Type M Series 7
Among the rarest of vehicles in the competition was this 1917 Locomobile 48 Type M Series 7, one of three known to still exist, which claimed top honours in the American Full-Classic class. Yes, that is said to have been its original colour.

Competing for honours in the same class was this spectacular 1930 Cadillac Series 452 V-16 Rumble-Seat Roadster.

Second-place in the American Full-Classic class went to this elegant 1930 Packard 745 Roadster, seen here at the Grey Roots Museum and Archive stop on the Participants Tour.

This 1934 Packard 1107/41 Dual-Cowl Phaeton, also on the Tour, placed third in judging for the American Full-Classic class.

One of the most popular classes on the field was that for Microcars. While that may look like a Nash Metropolitan in the foreground, it's actually a much rarer, badge-engineered 1957 Hudson Metropolitan.

The winner of the 'Baby Bird' class, for two-seater Thunderbirds, was this 1957 Ford Thunderbird 'E-Code', with a high-performance engine featuring two four-barrel carburetors.

There was a class specifically for Chevrolet Corvettes, as well, won by this 1960 Corvette.

1953 Oldsmobile Fiesta
This very special 1953 Oldsmobile Fiesta won the National Association of Automobile Clubs of Canada Rolling Sculpture Award.

General Motors Motorama Cars Class
That Oldsmobile Fiesta was part of a special non-judged class of cars introduced at the 1953 GM Motorama, which also included a Buick Skylark and a Cadillac Eldorado - all owned by the same person and all originally painted black.

1953 Cadillac Eldorado
The 1953 Cadillac Eldorado was based on the Motorama show car of the year before, which introduced such novel styling features as the wraparound windshield.

1953 Oldsmobile Fiesta
The Oldsmobile Fiesta was the lowest-production model of the three and the only one to be discontinued after just one year, with only 458 built. This is the only one to leave the factory painted black.

1953 Buick Skylark
The Buick Skylark was the lowest priced of the three - though far from cheap - as well as the most popular. It introduced styling cues that would identify the brand for years to come.

A direct descendant of the original Eldorado, this 1956 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz was the winner in the American Production Post-war Class.

Porsche was the presenting sponsor of the Concours and there were plenty of Porsches in the show. This 1967 Porsche 911 S Targa was the winner in the Classic Porsche class.

A sports car of a different bent was this mysterious AC / Cobra(?) in the European Sports Car class.

2006 Ford GT
There was no mystery about this 2006 Ford GT, which not only won the Exotic class but also the Hagerty Youth award, chosen by a jury of school-age children, sponsored by Hagerty Insurance.

Ford muscle in a different form was found in this 1969 Ford Boss 429, which placed third in the American Muscle Car class.

A crowd favourite in the special Corvair Concept Car display class was this rear-engined 1963 Chevrolet Corvair Monza SS Concept.

Closer in design to the production Corvair, this two-seater, 1963 Chevrolet Corvair Super Spyder concept car raised hopes at the time that something similar would be produced.

There is typically a class for motorcycles at the Cobble Beach Concours and this year it was specifically for Vintage Japanese Motorcycles. The class-winning 1970 Honda CB750 K0 is in the foreground.

This 1912 Roll-Royce Silver Ghost from the Canadian Automotive Museum was the recipient of the special HVA National Automotive Heritage Award.

Winners Circle
Once the class award winners were revealed, while other special awards were being presented, the chief judges convened in the Winners Circle to select the winners of the three overall awards.
